I’m one half of a travelling duo. We’re a typical working couple from British Columbia who try to travel as often as possible. We’ve been traveling for as long as we’ve known each other. More recently, we’ve broadened our horizons and have been traveling the world in bite-sized 2-week portions.
I have a penchant for collecting foreign coins, obsession with small birds, and a necessity to photograph unusual road-signs. I also love creative street art, religious iconography, and have an unhealthy affinity for all things UNESCO. He thrives on rock-climbing, photography, and planning our adventures. Luckily, we both have a love of exploring new countries!
Originally this site was set up for friends and family to receive updates and information about our adventures. Now, it’s become more of a travel journal–a space to organize some of our quirky stories and photos from our travels near and far. Here’s to hoping we’ll be traveling with a sense of awe, wonder and gratitude for many more 2-weeks at a time.
Pull up a chair and read for a while. I’d love to know what you think.
Happy Travels,
